Security officers patrol the co-op grounds and the surrounding area on foot, bicycles (weather permitting) and the security vehicle. The security office also maintains 24-hour camera surveillance of all building vestibules, elevators, hallways and some outside areas. Our digital video surveillance system has the long-term objective of increasing public safety, reducing crime, improving our ability to identify and apprehend perpetrators, and using our resources more effectively and efficiently. Our internet presence is to expand our channels of communications in order to strengthen our working partnership with the community which we serve.
